The 2nd Inter-University Social Work Student led conference has just concluded after 2 days of hard and dedicated efforts by students from the global South and North.
This one of a kind conference is in its 2nd year running. This year under the theme “Uniting for justice: One world, one fight – combating global disparities and inequities” social work students from Kwame Nkrumah University- Ghana, South African College of Applied Sciences – South Africa, University of Johannesburg – South Africa, Hope Africa University – Burundi and Elizabeth City State University – USA came together and shared valuable insights on vulnerabilities in today’s changing contexts and the critical role of social workers.
