In May 2024, the EAC region of ASSWA held a very crucial webinar on Self care for Social Work professionals. The Guest speaker touched on key aspects of self care while the presenters delved into different aspects of self care. This online event elicited alot of reaction from participants from different parts of the Global South who termed it of time and long overdue. This is the first of a series which will run through the year on self care.
